During the pandemic, Darci created a Facebook campaign to create awareness to shopping local over the holiday season. There were a number of small business that were being impacted as a result of the pandemic, and even a few that unfortunately had to shut their doors for good.  The campaign called "Shop Local Gift Card Giveaway" consisted of 10 weekly draws of $50 gift cards highlighting local businesses. Darci's idea was to donate $500 back into the community and draw awareness to keeping our money in our community - especially in times of crisis. What she didn't expect was for her community to come forward and generously donate their own money, allowing for 67 businesses to be highlighted, and raising over $3700 towards these local businesses.
